This section covers the Hatforce iOS app, a field-measurement tool we publish for construction and millwork professionals. It applies in addition to the sections above.
What the app accesses. Hatforce uses your device's camera and LiDAR depth sensor (via Apple's RoomPlan framework) to scan rooms in 3D and produce floor plans, wall elevations, and measurements. This is processed on your device. You may also add photos and enter client or job details such as name, address, phone, email, and notes.
Where your data is stored. By default, everything stays on your device. Scans, photos, and the information you enter are saved in the app's local storage, and the app works fully offline.
When data leaves your device. Data only leaves your device when you choose to act on it — by exporting or sharing a scan, floor plan, or PDF through the standard iOS share sheet, or by connecting the app to your own Hatforce platform account and pushing a scan over an encrypted connection to that account. The app never sends your scans anywhere on its own.
What we do not do. We do not sell, rent, or trade your information. We do not show advertising in the app, and we do not use third-party analytics or advertising trackers inside the app. We do not collect your location or contacts for tracking.
Deleting app data. Deleting a scan, photo, or client in the app removes those files from your device, and deleting the app removes all of its locally stored data. Scans you push to your own Hatforce platform account are managed within that account.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Your continued use of the website after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
